I think any 'audiophile' (not that i consider myself one of them) will tell you to keep all yer kit on standy all the time.

I do mine - prob costs a fortune, but hey, if it helps, it helps!!!

Because of the new powers of my system with the phono on board, I can hear that some of my discs would benefit from a clean. Any ideas. Is a "nitty gritty" machine the way to go or just a carbon brush. Will mild saop solution and a very soft cloth work?
