I call them the "RW Audio Foxtrot."

Much cheaper than I'd like but I'm so poor right now and I needed something. Down the road I'm going to get some nice Eichmann connectors and some ultra-low capacitance cable, maybe I'll call those the "Monastic Series."

(About $5.61 CAD per cable.)

Cambridge Audio 640C V2 cd player
Cambridge Audio 640A V2 Integreted Amp -Bass units
Cambridge Audio 340A SE Integreted Amp -Tweeters
Using 640A V2 as preamp
B&W DM602s3 speakers on Apollo Olympus stands
QED silver anniversary speaker cable
Damped shelving (home made)
Hand made pure silver interconnects with QED terminations (RCA)
The CD player is sat on some adjustable supports which i turned on a laith in aluminium which allow me to sit the player perfectly level.

I have built this up from at first just having a 640A v2 and the speakers and have only just recently added the 340 for the tweeters to try and achieve something simelar to a bi-amped system, and oh what a difference its made.
i would encourage anyone to try adding another amp instead of upgrading (provided one amp has a pre out) as the benefits are astounding.

Has anyone else tried this?

Micromega CD player still sounds good but the transport mechanism has given me a few problems over the years. A lot of time spent re-greasing & re-aligning cd sled. In my opinion the Micromega 'stage' series of cd players minimalist design has never been bettered. Still a cool looking thing.
